Todd Pickering Photographer

Todd Pickering

b. 1960 Pearl City , Hawaii

"In many senses, I'm just a defender of beauty.
Of course, then there is the debate over what beauty is.
For me it is just one thing: quiet.
That's the nature of it. It's very simple"

Todd Pickering received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute where he concentrated on landscape photography and sculpture. He has been photographing the Point Reyes region for over 25 years. Travels have taken him from above the Arctic Circle in Norway to the rainforests in Hawaii and to the jungles of Sri Lanka.
